ALT2K is the premier '90s/early 2000's alt-rock tribute, playing the biggest radio hits of music's last truly great era. The approach is pretty simple: play the most vital songs from the alt-rock age, and do them justice — as faithfully as fans are used to hearing them in recorded form. This includes precisely dialing in guitar tones, using digital effects where necessary, and employing a virtuoso vocalist with the flexibility to emulate the tonal and vocal styles of singers like Billy Corgan, Eddie Vedder, Layne Staley, Scott Weiland, Billy Joe, Josh Homme, Dave Grohl and Kurt Cobain. ALT2K is a Southern California tribute band known for their energetic performances and dynamic renditions of rock songs from the 1990s to the present day. Comprised of talented musicians who are passionate about the alternative rock genre, ALT2K delivers an authentic and engaging concert experience that pays homage to the music of the era.

The band primarily focuses on performing songs from the alternative rock scene, which emerged in the 1990s and has continued to evolve and thrive ever since.
